Born to Rhodesian immigrants, Kelly never lived the ‘white picket fence’ life. Moving every few years, she quickly got her first taste of life on the road, and Kelly’s music is influenced by this unique perceptive. Spending part of her childhood in Cape Town, South Africa, she started her first band at the age of 13. Today, Kelly Paige describes her musical style: “I am a recovering country artist. I love classic country music, but my music incorporates so many influences that it is hard to put the music I create into a box.” Country music has certainly played its part in developing Kelly Paige’s authentic girl next door charm. However, she also has another side, a spicy edge, which is undeniable part of her music and the story she wants to tell in the commercial pop field.
