There hasn't been a time in Jordan's life when he wasn't either surrounded by music or fully immersed in it himself. Both of his parents are musicians and his Dad was a music pastor for most of his life. Many rides to church on Sunday included Jordan's parents rehearsing a vocal duet in the car or going over whichever children's musical his mom was directing. In fact, he was one of the kids in the Psalty - The Singing Song Book production for the Billy Graham Kidz Gig in St. Louis. Before his voice changed, one of Jordan's favorite pastimes was singing along with Celine Dion at the top of his lungs - yes, all the notes, all the slides.

Somewhere along the way he traded her in for Boyz II Men. He has played violin since 3rd grade and finished high school as the Concertmaster of Symphonic Orchestra, but it took a fractured wrist playing football as a Freshman that gave him a 2 month hiatus where he decided to teach himself to play guitar. What would follow were some great opportunities to lead worship for youth group, main Sunday morning worship, the 2-3 year olds (a highlight of jumping up and down with guitar) as well as a weekly bible study in his home with 50-60 kids passionate about God. Jordan also cannot deny the impact of his older brothers - one on the stage and one in studio engineering chair.
