“Every song is autonomous from the next”, Goose states about his upcoming 13-song debut album, slated for release at the tail end of this summer. “I’m glad just be able to make noise and am excited for people hear these songs”, he adds. Goose was born into a musical family; it just took him a little while to figure out the gift he received along with his     predecessors. After listening to his granddad lead music at church and pick with his friends on the side, Goose decided to pick up a guitar around age 13. From then on, the songs spoke for themselves. Growing up heavily influenced by his grandfather’s musical mentorship and the soulful blues culture bred into every Muscle Shoals native, it did not take long for Goose to define himself as a musician. “You can hear all those old styling’s, the horns and the dirt in just about everything I do”, Goose will state when asked about his musical roots.

The path has been laid out for Goose Gossett. He is not trying to reinvent the wheel by any means, but only find a creative way to release his passions and pay respect to the legendary inspirations that have gone before him and also found their roots in the dirt of Muscle Shoals. The world will be the judge of that come late summer.
