Hailed as one of the loudest bands in Nashville, Clorange delivers a unique experience of sensory overload. Described as psychedelic doom metal, Clorange creates a vintage-modern sound by combining the heavy grooves, powerful soaring vocals, and lyrical content reminiscent of the psychedelic era with loud fuzzed-out riffs and shredding guitar solos. The band defines ‘Clorange’ as the human experience, and focuses the lyrical content about different perceptions of life.
Clorange is comprised of Carrie Acree on vocals, Alex Avedissian and Elliot Gordon on guitars, Colin Poulton on drums, and Murphy Vaughn on bass. With a vast array of musical backgrounds, each member of the band brings forth their own styles and combines them with a wide array of influences to create an extremely unique sound. The band names their influences as Black Sabbath, Sleep, Zoroaster, Death, The Doors, Pink Floyd, Ravi Shankar, Ten Years After, and Led Zeppelin. Playing frequently around Nashville, the band has performed at The Muse, Springwater, The End, and Rocketown. Clorange has shared the stage with Nachtmystium, Zoroaster and Across Tundras, and will soon be playing all over the southeast region later this year.
